PolitiTrak stores your watchlist, alerts, search history, and preferences in your browser's localStorage only. No personal data is collected or transmitted to our servers. No cookies are set, and no analytics tracking is used.
Third-Party Data Sources
Data is fetched from the Congress.gov API, FEC API, House and Senate Stock Watchers sources, and Senate lobbying disclosure systems. These are public government data sources, and we do not control or guarantee their accuracy, completeness, or timeliness.
Editorial Content
Promise tracking ratings including Pending, In Progress, Fulfilled, Broken, and Expired are editorial assessments made by our team. They represent informed opinion rather than objective fact. See our Editorial Policy for methodology.
Financial Analysis Disclaimer
The Follow the Money feature uses analytical inference to suggest potential connections between campaign donations, stock trades, and legislative activity. These are computational suggestions, not proven causal relationships, and should not be interpreted as accusations of wrongdoing.
STOCK Act Disclaimer
Stock transaction data is sourced from public STOCK Act filings. Late filing flags are factual based on those records. Transaction amounts are reported as ranges because that is how federal disclosures are filed.
Children's Privacy
PolitiTrak is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
